The award winning home, a massive Dutch Colonial located in the Sidetex home town of North Haven, features insulated vinyl siding, vinyl shakes and half rounds.

VSI said the award winners were evaluated on the basis of imaginative use of design, functionality and quality of workmanship.

Double six inch wood look clapboard vinyl siding features built-in form-fit attached insulation.

Vinyl shakes were used as accents in the front and back dormers and turret areas.

Vinyl half rounds were also used to enhance the front gable.

Vinyl details, window mantels with keystones, wide insulated corners, and frieze moldings were used to replicate the original architecture.

Beaded wainscoat vinyl soffits with hidden vents and custom sized shutters were also part of the award winning installation.

Custom fiberglass entry doors were also featured.
